What is Tradue?

Tradue is a no-code platform that lets traders build options and equity strategies, test them against years of historical 1-minute data, and understand exactly where they make or lose money — all from a single web terminal.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. The entire strategy builder is visual. You add legs, set entry and exit conditions, attach indicators and define adjustments through dropdowns and toggles. If you can describe a trade in plain words, you can build it here.

How accurate are the backtests?

Accepted Answer

Backtests run on real 1-minute intraday data and apply the brokerage and slippage you set, so the P&L you see is after costs. Equity data is corporate-action adjusted and gap-checked. Market data comes from third-party sources and may not be 100% accurate, so treat results as estimates.

Which markets and instruments are supported?

You can backtest NIFTY, BANKNIFTY, FINNIFTY and other index options and futures, as well as equity cash and stock F&O. Both intraday and positional (multi-day) strategies are supported.

Is there a free plan?

Accepted Answer

There is no permanent free plan, but every new account can try Pro free for 7 days (100 backtests) with no card. Paid plans start at ₹79 a month (+ GST) and you can cancel any time.

Can I deploy a strategy to live trading?

Accepted Answer

No. Live trading is not available and Tradue does not place orders with any broker. Today Tradue is for building, backtesting and understanding strategies, and for forward-testing selected strategies on paper (simulated, no real money). Live trading is coming soon and will be announced before it opens.

How long does a backtest take to run?

Accepted Answer

A one-year backtest on a single instrument usually finishes in under a minute; longer ranges and baskets take longer. Every run shows live progress, so you can tweak a parameter and rerun quickly.

What is auto-optimisation?

Accepted Answer

Auto-optimisation sweeps a range of values for parameters like stop-loss, target and strike selection, then reports which combinations were most robust. The goal is to find a stable edge rather than a single lucky configuration.

Is my strategy and data private?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Strategies you build are stored under your account and are private to you. We do not share or sell your strategy logic. You can delete your strategies and data at any time.

Does past backtest performance guarantee future returns?

Accepted Answer

No. Backtesting validates the logic and behaviour of a strategy on historical data, but markets change. Past and backtested performance is not a guarantee of future results. Trading in securities and derivatives carries market risk.
